Hello to all teachers, faculty, and viewers! My name is Natalie Mecklenburg and I am so glad you are here to see my progress throughout my internship this year. Please scroll down to learn more about what my internship was and to learn how to navigate my website.

About My Internship

For context, I interned at Hanger Clinic: A Prosthetic and Orthotic Clinic. I am interested in going into physical therapy, and I thought that by looking into another, less popular field of rehabilitation, I could have an interesting viewpoint on a field that works so closely with PT. Much of my work here involved shadowing clinicians. Hanger Clinic sees all types of patients: infants, kids, adults, and seniors. I was given an inside look into the world of prosthetics and orthotic, ranging from cranial helmets to prosthetic limbs. For navigation details, please look to the navigation box below this.
